The following Statement of Faith highlights the minimum doctrinal requirements to participate in Serve Simi: (1) We believe the Holy Bible is divinely inspired by God. Therefore, all Scripture is totally true, trustworthy, and authoritative. (2) We believe there is one and only one living and true God. The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (3) We believe in the eternal deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His substitutionary death and atonement through His shed blood, and His bodily resurrection from the dead. (4) We believe the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. (5) We believe that salvation is found through Jesus Christ by grace through faith alone. (Ephesians 2:8-9) (6) We believe the Church is made up of all those who have put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and finds its expression in multiple local congregations.
